| April Fool's Week at Grande Prairie Regional College 2003
Sort of tradition for engineering students to do a prank there for April 1st, so we did. Pictures show pretty clearly what all happened. Also shown is teardown a couple days later, as well as all the notes we took photos of due to being too tired to write. Plus there's some photos that have no real explanation other than being too tired. Credit for these pictures goes to tons of different people (which is why there are so many of them). My main contributions: The horn sound, sequenced by yours truly, went off on the hour every hour, like a clock. (It sounds surprisingly a lot more like a real horn when reverberating in the metal and echoing in the hallways.) Also, the ten minute breaks between classes were filled with the song, "Low Rider." This was all done by a sloppy Visual Basic app thrown together and running on my nasty old laptop in the trunk. Hazard lights also blink courtesy of me, using cheap blinker modules from an auto parts store and power supplies from the college's physics lab. |
